LINDSAY LOHAN: Court Date a Dud

Posted: Monday 07:39AM Jan. 07, 2013 PST

Lindsay Lohan lives to fight another day.

Turns out, there was no hearing this morning in her assault case in New York. Prosecutors said they hadn't yet finished their investigation and haven't yet drawn up a criminal complaint. So after signing some paperwork, Lindsay's lawyer, Mark Jay Heller, went on his way -- but not before predicting that no charges will ever be filed.

Linds is accused of punching another woman in the face at a nightclub on November 29th.

TAYLOR SWIFT: Dad Allegedly Has Man-to-Man Talk With Harry

Posted: Monday 12:52PM Jan. 07, 2013 PST

Looks like Taylor Swift’s dad Scott Kingsley Swift might have a bone to pick with Harry Styles. Several tabloids are reporting that Scott had a man-to-man talk with her boo, and advised Harry to take it slow with his daughter.

A insider tells London's Sun, “[Scott] likes Harry, but he wants them to slow down and take things easy. It’s clear to everyone they are smitten with one another and already talking about marriage. He doesn’t want them to split up as fast as they’ve gotten together and for Taylor to end up devastated.”

T and Harry were recently spotted vacationing in the Caribbean. It was their third trip together in three months.

It's the question everyone asks: Why is Lindsay Lohan a trainwreck? Her mom has finally given us an answer. Dina Lohan tells the New York Daily News, "Lindsay saw her dad abuse me -- that’s why she’s so screwed up."

Dina says her ex-husband Michael physically assaulted and once raped her during their 22-year marriage. JUSTIN BIEBER: #Cut4Bieber a Hoax

Posted: Monday 07:03PM Jan. 07, 2013 PST

Justin Bieber fans have done some extreme things for the singer, but cutting themselves to pressure him into giving up weed isn't one of them.

The hashtag #Cut4Bieber became the top U.S. trend on Twitter today (Monday), with pics of fans allegedly cutting their arms and wrists to protest the singer's possible drug use. Many major news outlets reported the story as real, but it was later discovered to have been a hoax begun by the members of 4chan.org. A message posted on the site read: "Tweet a bunch of pics of people cutting themselves and claim we did it because Bieber was smoking weed."

Even Miley Cyrus was fooled, retweeting a message that said, "#Cut4Bieber? Cutting is NOT something to joke about. There are people who are actually suffering from self-harm, this is so disrespectful."

DIET & EXERCISE: How to Drink More Water

Posted: Monday 02:08PM Jan. 07, 2013 PST

When making healthy changes to your diet and exercise plans, one of the first and most important changes is drinking more water. Diet and exercise experts all agree that water is important to every healthy lifestyle. It seems easy, right? But drinking more water can be a difficult change for a person who is used to drinking soda and juice all day. Here are some great tips to help you up your daily water intake:

  • Always keep a bottle of water within arm's reach: If you commute to and from work, keep a bottle (BPA free, of course) in the car. If you are heading to the mall for a shopping trip, throw a bottle in your purse. It's times when you least expect to drink that you will sneak some extra water in. Every little bit counts, and instead of stopping for a fountain soda you have water with you already.

  • Drink one or two big glasses as soon as you wake up: If you find drinking water to be a chore that you just don't enjoy, get it over with as early as you can. Drink a lot as soon as you get up and get your day going on the right foot. Then you don't have to worry about water for the rest of the day.

  • Embrace frequent bathroom visits: Drinking more water means hitting the little girls' room a lot more often. Think of it this way: Every time you make a bathroom stop you are flushing toxins out of your system and the water is doing its work!

  • Track your intake: Make a game out of it. Set daily and weekly goals for yourself and try to achieve and surpass your goals. It's a fun way to stay motivated and get healthy! (TheFrisky)
