JUSTIN BIEBER: Photographer Died Seeking Pot Pics
The photographer who was killed while trying to snap photos of Justin Bieber was allegedly trying to get a shot of the Bieb smoking pot behind the wheel of his Ferrari.
A source at Chris Guerra's photo agency tells TMZ that the paparazzo called in with a report that he'd spotted Justin with a marijuana pipe in his hand and Selena Gomez in his passenger seat. The agent says that Guerra was probably "overzealous" in pursuing the story and didn't see the vehicle that hit and killed him.
As we've reported, Justin wasn't even in the car when Guerra was killed.
KATIE HOLMES: Dating Jake Gyllenhaal?
Katie Holmes reportedly has a new man in her life, and she has her former Dawson's Creek co-star Joshua Jackson to thank.
According to reports, Katie has been secretly dating Jake Gyllenhaal. An insider says, "Josh has been the mastermind behind this romance. Katie says that they have tons in common, and Jake has already been to see her in [the Broadway play] Dead Accounts, plus she has been over to his apartment in [New York's] West Village for dinner."
Katie had been single since her divorce from Tom Cruise was finalized in August. Jake has previously been in relationships with Minka Kelly, Taylor Swift, Reese Witherspoon, Natalie Portman and Kirsten Dunst.

KRIS ALLEN: Breaks Arm in New Year's Day Car Accident
Kris Allen's year has gotten off to a bad start.
The American Idol winner and his pregnant wife Katy were in a head-on collision car crash on Tuesday. Kris suffered a broken arm. Katy suffered some minor injuries. Their dog, Zorro, was also in the car, but is fine.
Though Kris is said to be in a lot of pain and may not play guitar for a while, his unborn baby seems to be OK. He Tweeted, "Thank you @Ford for equipping me with a car that kept my whole family safe...and the little one we have on the way safe."

ROB KARDASHIAN: Marriage First
Rob Kardashian says he's excited for his sister Kim and Kanye West, but he won't be having kids without getting married first.
He tells Radar Online, "I’m so proud of my sisters, but I’ll be married before I have a baby... Kim and Kanye are over-the-moon happy. I’m so excited to be an uncle again!” He adds that his family isn't worried about a proposal from Yeezy. "I think everyone is just excited about and focused on the baby right now."
Kim, of course, is not free to marry Kanye until her divorce from Kris Humphries is finalized.
ANN CURRY: A Future Spot on CNN?
Ann Curry appears eager to leave NBC.
The former Today show co-host has reportedly been offered a high profile spot at CNN -- whose incoming president, Jeff Zucker, used to be Curry's boss at the Peacock. Radar Online quotes a source who says, "Ann wants out of her contract, big time." But NBC is apparently stalling on that request.
Last month, the New York Post claimed that Zucker was considering offering Anderson Cooper's current 8 p.m. ET slot to Curry.
ANNE HATHAWAY: She's "Not Rihanna"
Anne Hathaway doesn't find herself sexy.
The Les Miserables star tells Harper's Bazaar, "I'm not Rihanna... I'm not cool. When people come up to me in the street, they often want a hug, not a photo, and they want that because they like my work."
Breaking in as the star of Disney movies didn't help. "For a long time, it was me and [my manager] against the world. I was seen as this bizarre-world good-girl cartoon that I in no way identified with -- very vanilla, very sweet, very accessible and not interesting."
Playing the dying prostitute in Les Miz -- and stirring some Oscar buzz -- might finally cause the public to look at her in a different way.

SOFIA VERGARA: Kicked Out of Miami Nightclub on New Year's
Sofia Vergara kicked off the new year by getting kicked out of a Miami nightclub for bad behavior.
The trouble started when a fellow party-goer bumped into the Modern Family star and caused her to spill her drink. Boyfriend Nick Loeb got upset, and then Sofia started fighting with him because she thought he was causing a scene. But Nick lost it when the curvy actress agreed to take a flirty photo with the same guest who'd knocked into her. Things got so bad that guards removed Nick, while Sofia tossed an F-bomb at him.
But all seems OK in paradise -- a few hours later Sofia tweeted a photo of Nick with her mother.

BRITNEY SPEARS: Crazy Brit Is Back!
The old Britney Spears is back -- and it may get her booted from X Factor!
Insiders say the star has been for months showing signs of her old, crazy behavior.
A source tells the New York Daily News, "She shows up late, she wanders around aimlessly, and she is in her own world. She wasn't ready for this responsibility." The source adds that Brit has let down Simon Cowell, who expected her to bring in huge ratings for his show. That, of course, didn't happen. Now the singer, who earned $15 million for her first season as a judge, is rumored to be on the verge of losing the high-profile gig.
Brit's latest downward spiral allegedly began months ago on the set of her perfume ad, where she made a bunch of strange requests. The source says, "First, she wanted the producers to fly Vanilla Ice in to duet with her, which was just weird. They called him and he wanted $500,000, so that wasn't going to work. Then, she demanded that exotic animals be flown in to be in the video and they had to tell her that that wasn't going to work for legal reasons and insurance reasons. She wanted to do her own makeup, and when she would get it done, she would just mess it up on top of what they did."
MILEY CYRUS: Backs Up the Bieb After Paparazzi Death
Miley Cyrus agrees with Justin Bieber that stronger safeguards are needed following a tragic accident that claimed the life of a photographer chasing the Canadian singer's Ferrari Tuesday night.
Miley tweeted, "Hope this paparazzi/JB accident brings on some changes in '13. Paparazzi are dangerous! Wasn't Princess Di enough of a wake-up call?!" She added, "This was bound to happen! Your mom teaches u when your a child not to play in the street! The chaos that comes with the paparazzi acting like fools makes it impossible for anyone to make safe choices."
In a statement released shortly after the accident, the Bieb called for "meaningful legislation and whatever other necessary steps to protect the lives and safety of celebrities, police officers, innocent public bystanders, and the photographers themselves."
